Final Spring Twilight Night

Candle Making Dip+ Sip

Weds April 17th

Be Our Guest, Age 21+

Embrace the changing seasons with our final twilight night until September! Inspired by the renowned French artist Seraphine de Senlis, known for her candlelit ritual of painting through the night, we invite you to step away from screens and immerse yourself in the soft glow of candlelight, fresh seasonal flowers, and quiet power. Join us for two hours of gratitude and meditation, shedding self-critique and allowing your creativity to bloom freely in this final art session. For this final session, we will be creating hand dipped celebration candles and a candle box, reminding ourselves to continue to take moments to celebrate every moment, great or small.

All art materials, wine, tea, and small snacks included. Feel free to bring your own beverages as well. Please note, our studio is nut-free.

Event will be returning again in September

Story Through Stone

Saturday July 27th

$75, Age 21+ Teens Accompanied By An Adult

Join us for a unique painting workshop inspired by a collection of naturally occurring imagery found in billion-year-old sedimentary rocks from Joshua Tree. Local storyteller Cyndera Quackenbush's collection of billion year old stones, which she inherited from her father, will be used to guide participants through a reflective artistic journey. Embedded into each of the stones are naturally occurring sediment deposits that are so vivid the human eye often sees and interprets them as photographic-like images. The cross sections of each rock are interpreted differently by each person who views them. We'll be creating paintings using the remarkable stone collection as a catalyst for exploring and expressing our inner narratives. Through storytelling and painting, we'll delve into the stories we tell ourselves, allowing them to emerge and be processed through the making of art. Cyndera has led Story Through Stone workshops and retreats across the US and internationally, bringing her expertise to this transformative experience.

All art materials, beverages, and small snacks included. Feel free to bring your own beverages as well. Please note, our studio is nut-free.
