PROJECT heART
When the City and County Hospital opened its doors on August 28, 1872, San Francisco declared its commitment to care for every resident, regardless of circumstance. That enduring promise lives on through San Francisco General Hospital — the City’s only public hospital.

We might be small, but we are hands down the mightiest crew of heARTists you will ever meet.
When we were asked to paint a heart in benefit of SF General Hospital, we knew our work meant saving a life. Maybe many lives.
We've seen the ways our artwork, the sounds of laughter, and wide open love have become lifelines in our neighborhood and beyond. And the hidden Hearts in San Francisco have been an inspiration behind our love of giving for more than 15 years.

The Hearts in San Francisco have raised more than $14M through auctioning the hearts at an annual gala. We aim to be as successful.
SFGHF is a public hospital--for the people--and we'd love for you to stand with us by making a donation in the name of our Heart-a-thon.
We want our small heart to make the mightiest impact the hospital has ever seen - and to show that by painting a heart that helps heal our community there's no limit to the magic and generosity our next generation can bring to the world.

ABOUT OUR HEART
Born from a generation of flower-children’s-children, this next generation holds space for cultivating values of peace, love, compassion, and giving. We inherit our City's deep intention to grow something meaningful in community, and to offer it freely. 'With flowers in your hair' is our reminder to keep it groovy. Keep it kind. Keep the heART.
More Than 75 Kids age 2-13 Have Rallied Together To Make This heART...
...a heART That Will Save Lives.

Please make sure you list "ARTifact" as the honoree to your fully tax-deductible donation, ensuring every dollar goes straight to San Francisco General Hospital while letting us keep track of how much of an impact our in heART has made.
