ART for ALL
In 2010, when we first built ARTifact, we had a dream, a power drill, and a community eager to help transform a small, empty space into a vibrant clubhouse for kids. We didn’t even have tables, but that didn’t stop us. You could say we had (and still have) a whole lot of heART. As our children have grown, so has our commitment to making ARTifact an inspiring space for all ages, both young and young at heART.
During the pandemic, we held on tight, and we’re proud to still be standing. Now we hope to build upon what worked and what didn't so we can build an even better product for our future, and contribute in creative ways that expand beyond our four walls. Here's what that looks like: In our clubhouse, the best way to support our efforts and steer our direction is by joining us in our space. Sign up for a class or workshop, meet others, and bring ARTful living back into our everyday lives.
For those who prefer to support from afar but still want to keep the spirit of ART alive, we’ve brought back our wish list—just like we did when we first got our tables! Below are several ways you can give back to ARTifact that will make an immediate impact on our whole community while simultaneously helping us put our pieces back together.
ARTifact WISH LIST
As a 501(c)(3) organization, your financial support to bring ARTifact to Red Bridge is entirely tax-deductible.
Two years ago, ARTifact and Red Bridge joined forces to bring engaging, high-quality arts education to their founding campus. Your tuition contribution supports ARTifact in sustaining this vital program, allowing us to continue fostering creativity, community, and inclusivity for the students at Red Bridge. Together, we are shaping an environment where artistic expression thrives, enriching the learning experience for all.
DESIGN
Our space is a single room that serves many ages throughout the week. While we hope to someday have a bit more room, we want to keep it comfortable and functional in the meantime. We’re currently looking for design assistance in making the most of the space we have while keeping it functional for all. And, if you know if a commercial space that would suit us better in this next chapter, let us know that, too!
SEED FUNDING and ADVISORY
Our four walls have been the incubator of innovation and the keeper of all things good and human. From the four walls, we have written a popular children's book series, created enough digital online content to fill 1/4 of a child's school day, developed toys and products, designed and curated countless public exhibits, created 15 years of art + humanities-based curriculum, and served more than 6,000 families. All while changing the world for the better and beyond. We're bigger than our four walls and our ideas for what's next are big, too. We'd like to bring our talents to the mainstream in big, impactful ways. To do that we need:
-Collaborative partnerships
-Funding for project-specific pilots
-Access to top talent and the means to compensate competitively
*As projects develop, we'll post our needs for each project here.
