ARTist Call to Action
In March, the SF Chronicle surprised us when they stopped by our classroom. They wanted to write an article about ARTifact's unique efforts to bring ART to our community during closure. Many community members took on the spirit of our students and responded with offers to help. This gave us the idea to create a Citywide label for friends to make their own surprise bags and share in the collective movement of bringing ARTfulness to every corner of our community. To participate, pack a bag of clean art materials, shelter materials like soap or hand sanitizer, or canned food. Print the PDF label (to the left), circle what's inside, and leave it on a table outside your door. We intentionally left the label black and white like a coloring page in case you want to add your own flair. You never know whose heART you might touch or whose life you might change. This is the power of putting ART out into the world. Let's make today count.
